Has anyone who works at a Ford dealer received and 25 Mustangs that were built in Feb or March? Curious to see if these holes are now covered as what speculated a few posts prior to this one....

I do, I'll take a look tomorrowHas anyone who works at a Ford dealer received and 25 Mustangs that were built in Feb or March? Curious to see if these holes are now covered as what speculated a few posts prior to this one....
Thanks for the data point albeit a bit disappointing but really not surprising, lol. Also congrats on the new Mustang!Just registered today so I could share on this issue. Been lurking since I ordered my GT last September so I have been watching this topic closely.
I had a March 2025 build date. See below.
The holes in the front fender well liners are still there on my car. I had already ordered the DIYvan kit anticipating that I would probably need it. Installed them on Saturday. Great product. Worth the money if you are on the fence about spending the $94.00 USD.

I had a lot of small stones at 100km so be prepared. It's better to take out that whole side panel, clean it well and close it.I completely forgot about this "mod". Bookmarked it LOL I need to order these as well. I'm curious how much crap the car has collected in the 1800km I've driven it.
I might ask the Ford Dealership to do that when they install the Whipple in 3 weeks. Since it's on the hoist anyways it would be super easy. I already have them checking and topping off the transmission fluid cause I get an intermittent 2nd > 3rd gear nibble.I had a lot of small stones at 100km so be prepared. You can try the European version.I loked at the DIYVan, but including freight and coversion to South Pacific peso's it would have been over $NZ200
By chance can he share a pic?So the guy who has some inside information and told that the inner fender hole is solved just commented.
He said it is possible that there are still Mustangs with the inner fender hole because they are trying to get rid of the fender liners with the hole before using the new ones on the car. So it may take some more time to see the Mustangs with the closed fender liner.
Let's keep an eye out on it.
They look good. But still around $NZ200. I'll see how long my homebuilt ones last. I could probably duplicate them in alloy. You can try the European version.

It's better to make them from a softer material like the inner fender itself to dampen the sound. They look good. But still around $NZ200. I'll see how long my homebuilt ones last. I could probably duplicate them in alloy.
Besides, I rarely drive on dirt roads, and only in the wet when we're on a road trip. My wife's car is our daily driver, Mustang stays in the stable.
Good point. There is a spray on anti chip coating for ute trays and underbodies that might do the dampen the sound from metal guards too. It's better to make them from a softer material like the inner fender itself to dampen the sound.
