I'm running 93 in my car, but I’ve seen some people using an E30 mix. What is everyone doing on here? I thought you needed a tune to do it. What are the upsides to mixing versus the downsides? And is it safe to do without the tune???

if you're stock, stick to 93/91. No real performance benefits with e30 on stock IMO. you're also probably hurting your stock fuel system with e30, so I would not mess with any kind of ethanol blend while stock. What you're seeing i'd imagine is people using e30 with cars that have a supercharger on it (roush, whipple, procharger all have kits rn). the e30 blend allows for better performance and higher horsepower. The supercharger kit comes with the fuel parts necessary to be able to run e30 and also include tunes that allow for e30. That being said, i genuinely find mixing fuels to be an exhausting endeavor over time and it's best to just stick to 93/91 octane, even with the supercharger on it. e30 should only be used for dyno testing or on the drag strip/track.

The idea with E30 is that the factory trims will adjust up to that point, and it should add timing eventually (assuming you aren't running out of fuel pump)

The caveat is how do you know if you are actually at E30

Ok ok makes sense, I have a Procharger coming in buttttt I been waiting for Califona to sign some legal paperwork for it to be able to sell.
