I will report my experience with my S650 GT 5.0 V8, I always fill it with 105 octane RON premium gasoline, the vehicle's tank holds 60 liters in the city running with angel foot, that is, +- light and star stop turned off, the vehicle has a consumption of 4.8 km/liters. On the highway with a full tank (60 liters) I can travel 600 kilometers, at a constant speed of 120 km/h.

I don't rely on gauges or computer readouts, I use the trip meter and reset at each fill.
I also use the fuelio app which gives you a good idea of round town or open road consumption.

I really don't look that much at the consumption gauge but more at how many kilometers I drove on 1 full tank. If the difference between full tanks is noticable while my driving style was the same, then I would have question marks and start to find out what the reason is behind this..

But if I still get around the same amount of kilometers on a full tank every time, I can ignore the guessed calculation of the computer.

I'm still coming to terms with fuel consumption.
But my yearly mileage is low. I don't play golf or gamble, and my wife won't let me have a mistress, so this car is my hobby.

I same the same thing.
I don't drink, smoke, have a pet or go out partying.
My Mustang is my main money spending machine.
