Ok data dump… also shoutout to @JimC super nice member and he sold me the rears/drag radials for a great deal, thanks 👍

Recap: prior all stock best was 12.0 @ 117 in 700ft D/A… all stock last November

FF to today… D/A of 2365 (terrible)

I installed longtube headers, stock resonator and catback still.

also removed carbon traps, pulled back seat only… and rear drag radials on 17’racestars.

oh… also my friend brought out his coyote swapped notchback on slick and skinny’s…. Gen2 6r80 setup.

Recap….on the 2nd run I tried manually shifting to hold gears longer… nosed over in 5th at the trap and killed MPH.

Tried foot braking off the line, didn’t really help… the car did get quicker as I got more passes in… people always think “let it cool down” but these coyotes like some heat in the to a point.

Best runs were 1. Drag mode, 2. TC off 3. Burnout IN manual in 1st. 4. Switch back from manual to auto 5. Foot brake to 22-2300 rpm’s off the tree.


Mph is up big uncorrected…2mph plus solid…
But corrected through D/A calcs …it’s a solid 5MPH plus…longtubes added 40 plus avg HP through the band easily off the math…

And with all that said…. I
Gotta get this whipple on and get ready for the fall.

It was nice seeing you. My friend said that you were consistently 0.2 quicker than me (actually I thought that you got in the 11's and see the slips above); he figured a big part is the weight difference with Performance Package and magneride. I didn't realize you have long tube headers too.
