If you have read about all the computer error messages on this forum, you'll find they have a common thread - The Battery.Congratulations on the car, looks great.
Am curious why you need the battery charger in such new car? Never had to use one in any of my cars…
NOCO Link:I can't find the link(s) I had saved but can you guys recommend a decent charger?
The Amazon link doesn't seem to be working for me.NOCO Link:

Here's the Amazon link.

I just picked my Noco Genius 5 at Walmart and payed 2 cents more than on Amazon is charging. The Amazon link doesn't seem to be working for me.
Do you only want it for maintenance? Then get a NOCO. You don't NEED a high amp version just for maintenance ... even the 1A version is perfectly adequate for that. But here are a few in different amperages:I can't find the link(s) I had saved but can you guys recommend a decent charger?
Good question. Not sure if I want it just for maintenance or possibly more. Honestly I'm just trying to think ahead and figure out things to get and have on hand in case something goes haywire with the battery, etc which seems likely at some point, lolDo you only want it for maintenance? If you ever plan on programming modules (e.g, FDRS and a Mongoose J2534 VIC), you'll want a unit that not only charges, but has a (literal) power supply mode. For this, tons of folks on the F150 Forums swear by this one:

I have the Clore for programming and a NOCO for every vehicle I own (SXS, ATV, cars, boats, etc.) except my F150, which I daily drive.Good question. Thank you for the info. I'm curious if you can chime in on the A10 whine question I mention in the thread I posted here:I have the Clore for programming and a NOCO for every vehicle I own (SXS, ATV, cars, boats, etc.) except my F150, which I daily drive.
I've only got about 280 miles on the DH, so I haven't really driven it enough to notice a whine (or lack of). I'm not driving it until I get the ceramic coat and tint done (dropping off tomorrow). I drove it home from the dealer as well as to/from work twice, and I can not say that I've noticed any whine.Thank you for the info. Does your DH have this 'characteristic?'
Ok thanks for the info. Please post some pics after you get it tinted and ceramic coated.I've only got about 280 miles on the DH, so I haven't really driven it enough to notice a whine (or lack of). Picked it up yesterday late afternoon. Drove straight home, about 7 miles on paved roads. I forgot to add in the Gorilla tape in the front wheel well holes.
Fun drive though. Going to have to get used to a very different clutch that the WRX.
I put my 5 amp battery tender (for AGM batteries) on this morning at 7:00AM. Battery needed charging based on the indicators! While that was going on, I installed my white Bullitt manual shift knob. Looks great against the black upholstery and interior. I also installed the UPR Catch Can (dirty side only). That was a challenge due to tight spaces, the Strut Tower Brace, and the fact that I'm not mechanically inclined- computers, I'm your man.

After charging for three hours, I took the charger off and located my key fob "out of range" of the car and then measured the parasitic current draw off the battery - nothing turned on. I was surprised it measured 400ma (.4 Amp). This is what may be causing all the computer alerts due to a "non optimum" battery charge. I will measure again after the battery is fully charged.

I’ve seen a lot of these brand new 2024 mustangs come in with a dead battery or almost a dead battery. Sometimes they sit for a very long time at Flat Rock or on a railroad siding somewhere & the batteries loose their charge.
Congrats on your new GT Mustang.
It will be a lot of fun.
