It’s okay the car might have freaked out once. I don’t think you should panic if it only happened once.
I had this happen to me one time in Drag mode, i reached 100 mph and i started getting 4-5 warnings, i stopped the car and turned it. Restarted… no issues since then never seen the errors again.
Bottomline is, if you care about your hard earned money being well spent… get a GT or GT premium. Not enough benefits to justify the DH over GT premium.
It is crazy indeed, it gives sort of a punch forward in drag mode when shifting.
I tried only twice so far, and it chirped in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gears. But maybe thats cause my tires were 40 psi.
But i found quite weird why all gears shifted at ~7500 expect for 2nd gear, only went up to 6500 in...
I noticed my car runs much smoother when i let it warm up until it idles as low as it gets.
When am in a rush and i only wait 30 sec to a minute, i notice its significantly more jerky… which i don’t like.
If you’re not in a rush, I suggest you let it take the time it needs to lubricate all parts.
If you like the feeling of engine brake, it might be better to turn it off.
On the other hand, if you want to enjoy a more responsive and smoother downshift, leave it on.
True… i found it quite visually pleasing. Plus if i throw in any mods… all i have to do is coat it black, and it will look as stock as it gets.. as we are forced to get the car examined annually for mods and safety.
Nah am just kidding with the coding workflow, But this sounds like a nice project kit to create and sell to EU owners.
Would be interesting to see how EU dealers are satisfying that requirements without odd buttons, or weird looking aftermarket lights.
