Just started on the second leg of a recent 1200 mile road trip. In the video it sounds more like creaking, but in person it's more of a distinct clicking.
I eliminated anything with the boot (or pedal movement), because you can keep your foot depressed on the brake pedal, activate the electronic parking brake, and you'll get the same clicking type noise from the boot area.
This leads me to believe it's more electrical, something like a relay. I've also noticed that if I press the brake on while the gear lever is in park, I'll get a vibration in the lever.
The noise is coming from behind the boot (circled) in the attached picture. Coincidentally, my PNRDL lighting for night stopped working.
Also noting that after eight hours of driving back yesterday the noise had gone away. Wtf smh
I have an appointment Monday but would be fun to see if anyone can guess what it is.
