This was driving me insane, especially at 06:30 in the mornings with my neighbors bedroom <10m away.Anyone know how to stop horn from sounding when exiting car. I have searched interweb and manual but can’t find answer..I only want it to sound when locking or door/boot not completely closed..Is quite annoying when just getting out & horn sounds for no reason..(that I could find)..
Thanks for any help..

I did find holding the fob up against the rear 1/4 window whilst exiting prevented the double-honk 99% of the time.
Sensing the low powered signal through the glass meant it took a few goes to find the optimum spot.
We're RHD down under, but try it on your corresponding side.
Right hand used to take photo, but you would touch the lock touch sensor with your other finger/hand whilst holding the fob about here.
When it went in for it's POM service (Piece of Mind service - it's a complimentary dealer check up we get @ ~3 months in Australia) I asked the dealer to disable the double-honk, which they did.
Piece at last.

It was a stupid feature, and one that should have been in the GUI to disable, just like the Key Detection Alert double-honk upon exiting the car whilst it's still running.
Get your dealer to do it, next time it's in.
