I’m convinced that birds were informed that I bought the paint protection insurance coverage and are determined to put it to the test. I’ve had more bird crap on my car in the < 1 month I’ve owned it than I had in the 13 years I had my Explorer…. Little bastards!

that all being said, I’ve been keeping a bottle of simple green (or something to that effect) in the trunk along with some microfiber cloths… spray down the gunk, get it good and soaked, and then wipe with microfiber, then hit it again with more fluid and gently buff with clean portion of microfiber.

I'd brush my teeth with a toothbrush found on the floor of a Citco bathroom before I'd use the community squeegee out by the pumps.
