This conversation just never ends lol people did the same thing to the Mach 1 on the 6G forums until later they found out technical differences and how it got a good amount of Shelby hand me downs. Which has not changed with the DH. The refinement the DH has over the GT will not be seen on the street but on the track.

You definitely should, you seem to like a soft suspension and road isolation. Based on your impressions of the Cadillac CT5, I think you'd like the BMW 340i.
It's a handsome sedan and I'd definitely take it for a test drive if I could, but sadly it's outside my budget of what I'm willing to spend for a new car.

I disagree. The only incentive to get the GT are the incentives. If the Dark Horse was so privileged with incentives, EVERYONE would get one if they could.
Don't know about Ford incentives, but all summer and still now most East Coast dealers are 10-15% (6k-9k) off
of loaded GT's. Sounds like a bargain to me, compared to a DH. But, as usual, buy what you like and can afford.

I been trying to work dealers in my area (Bay Area) and god damn took putting three dealers against each other to just get to “invoice” on an ordered 2025, which is only $2600 off. I also get a $500 first responder discount. Hopefully Ford starts doing rebates once the 2024’s have cleared out. I remember seeing during the summer $2000-2500 factory rebatesI also found a dealer that’ll do msrp on an ordered dark horse but was told it could be a long wait.

I’m not sure if it’s supply constraints but there are literally no 2024 Manual GTPP’s within 200 miles of me. I had a 2018 GTPP with the MT-82 and didn’t really have any issues with the transmission. I thought it shifted better than my 2003 Mach 1 but had a weird clutch screech if the clutch wasn’t engaged perfectly. Luckily I got it lemon lawed for cylinder bore damage.

One side of me tells me save the $15,000 but in reality with having to get wider wheels ($2,000)(Since the DH comes with half inch wider wheels and way better looking wheels that I wouldn’t swap), and other small mods ($300 in black emblems because $1400 for black out package is highway robbery), $120 custom shift knob.

So $12,500 gets the better transmission, magneride, probably better value retention, my opinion of better wheels and interior design, transmission and differential coolers, forged rods, two piece brake rotors, black out package and more aggressive front fascia. I think I’m upselling my self to go big.

TLDR; I think if you got the money and aren’t putting your self in financial risk then go DH.

GT - you might like drag racing more

On Oct 7 I happened to be at my Ford dealer for some reason and saw a Grabber Blue GT Premium Convertible optioned just right and bought it. It has A10, Brembos with gb calipers, and Copilot. A big reason was the passenger seat height is not adjustable in the GT I had and my wife was extremely unhappy about that. Today I experienced the power and sound with the top down and it was magnificent. Also, I think the next variant could be some sort of Boss Mustang. Someone quoted from Rennlist earlier where I posted a comparison of the 911 vs Mustang GT arguing the Mustang might be the better choice. Instead of getting laughed off some of those Porsche guys sort of agreed with me !

If I wanted to go with a manual I would of absolutely gone with a Dark Horse or a Mach 1.
