I debated on x or h for over a year, ended up with h and couldn't be happier.

Honestly don't think there's a wrong option

Had an h pipe with glass packs on my first (classic) mustang. Sounded amazing.

added an x to my Cobra and some Borla Stingers. The absolute best sounding exhaust I’ve heard to this day. No rasp. No drone. Just clean muscular symphony.

x pipe is the bomb.

I feel I got the best of both worlds with the Borla switchfire X-pipe.

I'm with you, stock sounds great. Maybe my old ears just don't like the sound of raspy exhausts anymore
Agree. I prefer the more mellow sound. Then I'm still below 1,000 miles so I'm not pushing anything over 4,000 rpm.

I've got the Ford Performance Extreme AVE cat-back system on my car and it's very loud. :like:

The stock active exhaust quiets down significantly after a few thousand miles to the point where it's way too quiet. It does sound pretty good with an x or h pipe (I'm running the corsa double H), but even then "track mode" is mandatory. I want Normal mode to actually serve a purpose so I'm swapping to the full Corsa active

You can never have too much noise. 😉

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that has saggy exhaust after installing a mid pipe lol. No matter how much I adjusted it, it ends up looking just like in the video.

Glad to know I’m not the only one to prefer the X Pipe. 😅😅😅. Made my decision and haven’t been disappointed since. I LOVE the pitch of the High Rpm band sound, reminiscent of the GT350. But agree also to each their own. Can’t go wrong with either setup.

Can't really go wrong with either but love the sound and volume of the X-Pipe on my AVE at the upper end of the RPM bands.
