Depends, are you or another gonna remain in the car while it is off? If yes say yes otherwise say no. it is asking if it should ‘alert’ you at the first detection of motion inside the car.

How does the car alart you?
If the feature is active, the car should alarm as it normally would when someone has breached the security of the car.

The Owner's Manual provides details of the different sensors (movement inside, movement of the vehicle, sudden incline, as in towing, etc.)

Ford's security package offers at least one interior motion sensor, as an additional layer of security.

The option to disable is welcome by pet owners. It allows the vehicle movement sensors and open door sensors to be active, the car and console secured, while allowing a pet to move around inside.

How does the car alart you? I never heard an alarm on a Mustang
Lights, sirens (horn) and maybe even a txt just depends if you’re using the app (fordpass) or not.

Has anyone had this feature work informing them of a possible situation? Does it tell you if it's internal, incline ect.? If you don't pick yes or no does it default to no?

All the option does is turn off the motion sensor. This is required if you leave an animal or person inside a locked car or if you go on a ferry where the movement of the boat will set off the alarm. It will default to full alarm with motion sensor if you ignore it. You can turn the prompt on or off in the settings.

This shows up every time I turn the car off. I don't know what it means or does, should I shut it off? How do I shut it off?

I get the same message.
I just usually leave it alone and don’t touch anything?

Our 2020 Limited 4x4 F150 has the same option.
When we have our German Shepard with us I have to turn off the internal motion detector.
One summer several years ago, our motion detector went off at 11:30 at night in our F150.
It seemed the whole neighborhood came out with a fire 🫷.
A Moth set the interior motion detector on the F150.
We set him/her Free. 🆓

great if you have a ragtop and leave it parked with the roof down.

You can go into settings and set it to automatically arm or disarm them

I need to reset mine as the previous setting got over written by a software update or something.

Kind of like the back seat child minder warning, it can be turned off (thank God)

It does exactly what it says!

You can turn the prompt off in the settings
Glad to hear I can turn that prompt off. Would be very annoying being forced to make a selection everytime I turn off the vehicle. The car I test drove did this and did a constant beeping like a seat belt one when I ended the test drive.
