As with anything like that, you are paying a price for betting something major will go wrong, and the warranty company is betting it won't.
It worked well on my 2016 F-150, when both of my turbos needed major repair, costing several thousands of dollars. I got my repairs at Ford and walked away paying only $250 in my deductible. The cost of my repairs exceeded the cost of the warranty by at least 2 times.
Either way, roll of the dice and a toss of the coin.
Make your decision accordingly!
