How are your inlet temps? Thinking about doing an open set up on my DH for better sound but I don’t want to get heat soak

Ditto here too but going mostly for looks. Not a fan of the stock CAI containers or the K&N enclosures.

1.5 hour install, with my 12 year old helping, fit good and looks way better than stock. CAI and x pipe car sounds great, next mods will be headers and coil overs I think. Still new with 1300 miles, I love this car though.

I am assuming K&N is using the stock K&N, E-0630 air filters on this item. Yet the actual filters are "Out of Stock" on their website.

I ran it between 90 and 120 mph for a few miles with outside temps in mid 50s, see pics, seemed good to me

Nah I will wait to do that, need headers and suspension upgrades before I start messing with real engine / tune upgrades imo. The filters were mainly aesthetics for me. I'm telling you just x pipe and thuis makes the car sound like it has something in it even though it's still basically stock

Do you think having the open filters compared to the stock enclosed box have a great difference in the heat

You might like to check out at sbfilters.com, I personally am looking in it!

So about 15 degrees higher at highway speed? What are the temps showing after sitting at idle for 30 seconds...like at a redlight?
