Knock noise on start Mustang GT 2024 Performance

Hello i have a knock of metal sound on start mustang gt 2024 and I don’t know what is the cause even the dealer don’t know they told me we don’t know
The sound comes when the car is warm but on cold start it doesn’t come
Anyone face this problem and know what is the cause??

It’s best to start the engine with the hood open and listen to where it’s the noisiest.

My 370z have this rattling noise coming from where it seems to be the dash, because of exhaust frequency vibrating the cabin.

The problem is didn’t come every start maybe comes once per day from every 5 6 starts one time it do it

It’s best to just start it and listen inside the engine bay and underneath the car. If you don’t hear it from outside then it’s probably just sound frequencies disrupting the cabin, dash, metal etc

I hear it from outside the car also when i start it with the remote key

So then if it’s inside the engine, then it’s more serious. I can never give u an accurate description because i have no experience to it. I can only give my thoughts on it.

I believe the noise you're hearing is transmission related, i.e., pressurization causing the single knocking/slapping sound. Probably why the noise is only heard one time.

Oohhh it’s a “single knock” I thought it was constant knock/rattling. If that’s the case I’ve read online it’s the transmission. Seems like a lot of people having this “issue”. I have no clue sorry.

Yeah, hear when he starts the car. The single knock is super loud and sounds scary even.
