What's the name you want on the check?
Would you buy a Chevy SS(or Chevelle)/Cadillac CTV NA with options of both manual and auto, over a Mach 4 if it had a V8 and just a 10 speed?

BTW I agree. 😂😂😂

I’m just asking cause I want to see how competitive this Mach 4 could be really to us if it had a V8.

It depends on the sizing.
Mach 4 with a real backseat with room enough for 4 adults (2 smaller), or just 4 doors on the current model?
All it needs is a little more room IMO and it would be almost the perfect thunderbird replacement for the 90s era car. When I sat in the mustang last night, I was very much reminded of my 97 T-Bird with the cockpit layout. the ONLY concern I have is getting the dog in the back, or my 12 string in through the trunk...because I am not sure it would fit in that opening. with 4 doors, I can put my guitar or my dog in the back and would not feel bad about sticking my older brother in the back seat (he's shorter than I am)

seriously, slightly stretched mustang vs the 2016 SS? The SS, but it doesn't make a difference auto or manual because the Auto is quicker. Now, if you said DCT...well, that changes things.

Stretched enough for a real back seat? The Ford, because I would rather have the Ford...they just have not made something that I want other than the F350

The reason why I’m asking is would it raise any eyebrows with what Ford is doing? Like would you look at it and wonder why they would create a whole other car instead of continuing the Charger coupe and maybe adding something else? And yeah let’s say it’s retro but kinda retro future. Like this
IMG_3555.jpeg

and same with Chevy, let’s say if it is a Chevelle (I agree way better name). Only gets a N.A. engine, an etc, but wasn’t a Camaro 4 door. Would you find it interesting? (I’m not stuck on the name per se just saying the differences like name, body style, transmission, engine options)

like I said it’s hypothetical because those brands are so dumb it’ll never happen. 😭🤣
I don't think dropping the 2-door Charger and replacing it with a smaller V8-ready coupe would raise as much whiplash as the Mach-4 has potentially being a thing alongside the Mustang. And I'd be interested in a Chevelle regardless of door count as long as there's no blind spots and the steering feels as great (if not better) as the outgoing Camaro did.

I hope this answers your questions.

The durango and the mach-e are pretty close in size and shape. Drop a v8 into a mach-e and call it a mach 4 and does it assume the sales potential of the srt/hellcat durango?

Durango is midsize, Mach-E is compact, I'm pretty sure. And dropping the Coyote doesn't make the Mach-E a direct sales competitor with the SRT/Hellcat...it would compete with the R/T and it's corresponding trims. Actually, speaking of Mach-E, I test drove one recently and I failed to see/feel any difference between it (base trim RWD) and the GT variant besides visual cues and numbers on paper.

I’d honestly be more interested in the GM car if they offer a manual vs the Ford with an auto. Fun factor the manual wins by a mile. Even with a DCT. I have one sports car with a DCT, and two with a manual. Both manual cars are more fun compared to the DCT car.

I may be in the minority, but I hate the name Ecoboost. I would not buy a vehicle with that badge on it. I would like to see Ford drop Ecoboost and just call them Turbos.

Come to think of it, someone here posted that the Coyote engine would likely not fit in the frunk of the Mach-E, let alone something supercharged like the Predator, let alone let alone something bespoke like a Voodoo or Legend...

It was i. Go ogle ai indicated the animal wouldn’t fit but the engine was smaller, so really depends upon how the question is phrased.

When living in the land of stretched out make it this way, if covers a multitude of possibilities. If the if was possible would they anticipate the same results as shown by another? It’s the what-if that makes the question. Would everyone complain if all of a sudden a supercharged mustang miniature suv showed up or are we stuck anticipating a stretched controversial coupe?

I would not buy a SUV like vehicle. If I want a truck, I will use my F350. Both my wife and I love driving sedans.

So, no. A 4 door SUV "Mustang" would hold 0 interest for me, just like the Explorer ST holds no interest for me.

Ironically a suv would sell better. What a time to be alive.
