Magneride various calibration configurations

Hello all,
I am trying to figure out the various Magneride calibrations for different cars and validate with the experts in the group that my findings are right.

1- S550: PP1
2-S550: GT-350, PP2, Mach 1 is the same calibration
3-S550: GT-350R
4-S550: GT-500
5-S650: PP is the same as S550 PP1
6-S650: Dark Horse is the same as Mach 1.

I am trying to get this figured out because my 2024 will be my first Magneride car and primarily a track car that will be lowered and I want to make sure whatever changes I make in the suspension will have the best matching Magneride calibration possible.

I am also curious about this and am trying to figure out if you can load the DH/Mach 1 magneride calibration onto a GT PP. I come from BMW where you can load the CS steering, throttle, trans, and suspension calibration onto a standard M car.

Yes, Chris (our Head of Marketing) has been instrumental in testing & getting this dialed in for Steeda - https://www.steeda.com/steeda-555-40-1016-101-mustang-magneride-controller

I will have to see what kind of feedback he has for the 2024 Mustang.

Thank you for this! I got the Steeda MR Sport Springs installed yesterday but haven't had a chance to test it out yet. Would definitely love to understand how this can help overall drivability and performance whether stock or modified.

Nice, congrats! Unfortunately, we did not program the calibration to be compatible with the MagneRide Sport springs, just most OE springs and our Dual Rates. If you plan to install the controller, I would recommend upgrading to the Dual Rates.

Any updates you can share regarding S650 MR calibrations? Curious how they stack up compared to prior models and GT Premium vs Dark Horse.

Didn't they change the control frequency on the S650 to a higher update rate ? and also use inputs from the front sensors for things like pot hole mitigation?

they are using Gen3(?) MR for the 650 which is supposed to be quite a bit better than the previous. However, the tuning is what matters, and that assumes the hardware is up to the demands. On S550 the hardware was severely lacking till they changed dampers, but unfortunately didn't adequately address the tuning. So if you have a GT/EB S550 you can just swap in the new assemblies and realize a notable improvement.

Feedback Internally:

We do not have an update on this. Once we get our Dark Horse here, we can confirm hardware fitment and look at the software side.

We can not confirm any comparisons between the S550 and S650 models.

This is 100% on our radar & will provide updates when available.

The link says only for up to 2023. Will this work on an s650 with Magnaride/PP?? I don't like the Magnaride settings - feel almost no difference in the suspension of the car. Do you also have anything than can make the PP with Magnaride better handling/suspension?
