Steeda’s dyno gives lower readings consistently when compared with other dynos. That’s why you can’t always compare numbers when run on different dynos.
True, resonator delete isn't make a big difference. Either way.

Haven‘t heard of that Double X Pipe before but it sounds very interesting. I will have to look that up and see if they offer a sound clip or another vid on Youtube that offers the clip.
Here is the video from Zander13 when he swapped the XX to the HH. I haven't done a video with the Corsa exhaust yet on my channel, lol.

Just wanted to post my recent surprising experience swapping my Steeda Xpipe for the Corsa double Hpipe. I was actually fairly happy with the sound from the Xpipe but gave in to my curiosity hoping to getting that deeper tone everyone talks about and maybe a little more volume.

Surprise! Despite the HH pipe being 3inch, it's noticeably quieter and not at all deeper in tone. Track mode on my active exhaust is now somewhere between the sound level of the normal and sport setting with the xpipe, but it is a much "cleaner" tone with less rasp.

The other surprise is actually a positive. There has been a butt dyno certified improvement in low end torque with the HH pipe. Throttle response is better and my A10 is shifting noticeably smoother than it did with the Xpipe. My normal drive mode now feels more like it did in sport with the Xpipe lol.

In all, I love the throttle response improvement, but prefer the volume and maybe even the rasp of the xpipe. I just thought the swapping of benefits was odd. Anyone else have this experience?

I reached out to Roush and they confirmed they will be releasing an active exhaust for the 2024 GT in the next few months
Hey there! Thanks so much for the positive response and your experience/feedback. And of course, your business!

Just updating the thread with a quick video of some remote revs after putting a few thousand miles on the exhaust

What about the borla crossfire? We need a comparison between a double x, double H and the borla crossfire

You're never gonna find someone do a video comparison of all three unless it's one of the brand youtube channels like American Muscle or CJ Pony Parts. Speaking personally as someone who has heard a double H and currently own a switchfire, the double H sounds spectacular and deep. The switchfire sounds deep within the low rpm ranges, but once you get above 3k-4k rpm it sounds like a racecar rather than a muscle car. If you like that, then I would highly recommend the switchfire. I know most Mustang and muscle car owners prefer the H pipe. Have heard the double X too and sounded too raspy and too high pitched for my taste

I agree with the butt dyno feeling. I’ve had both and agree the H pipe definitely feels better

I didn't say peak numbers improved, but it definitely shifted the torque curve to the left lower in the rpm range. And yes, crisper shifts could come down to the same (improved low-end torque means less lag when rpms drop during upshifts in normal driving)

Between 3 motorcycles, 2 Mustangs & a Lightning I’ve got... somewhere north of 200 dyno runs.
Every.
Single.
Time.

I perceived a low end improvement it was exactly the opposite - a dip in the torque curve was introduced, resulting in a flat spot where power doesn’t increase or may dip slightly, then when the vehicle pulls through that rpm range there is a sudden ‘hit’ of felt power.

If your butt is sensitive enough to perceive this ... I think congratulations are in order, but in today’s culture, I’m just not sure. Regardless, you would benefit from some time on an actual dyno to validate or invalidate your perceptions.

Does someone know if the H or X pipe resonator delete give you any drone on the highway?

It shouldn't. Usually only axle back/muffler change would introduce drone.

No they don't. The only thing that really adds drone are cheap mufflers/deletes
