And as predicted we have folks trying to compare the incomparable. A virtually hand built race car for the street versus a production car. Also using only two factors, albeit important ones, to determine the final value of a vehicle. Both are amazing cars and I’ll bet those with the actual means to buy cars in this price range would consider owning both.

Even though the ZR1 will be considered a “production“ model I wonder how many folks are really going to pony up $175k for one. And those that do will hardly go bankrupt if they have to pay a $25k to $50k ADM.

Well I'm with you - look what they did with the Z06 when it came out. If your one of those people that has to have the first one - you will take it in the BUM. I have an A@@Hat neighbor has to have the latest of everything (it's a self esteem issue) paid $185K for his Z06 and they can be had for under MSRP now.

actually Z06's are now up to 5K off of MSRP. Some w/Z07. Just 2 years into the run. There are a few on Corvette Forum saying they have MSRP deals in writing. In a year or two you will walk in and order or buy at MSRP. Just like every other Vette ever.
