Hi everyone!

An important characteristic of a great company is how they handle issues when things go sideways.

I ordered some matte carbon fiber fender flares and a hood vent from NYTOP (nytop.com).
The fender flares were damaged in shipping by UPS. The box was crushed right where the "fragile, handle with care" sticker was, no less. 🤦‍♂️

Quality of the items is superb.

I immediately contacted NYTOP and spoke with Eric. He was terrific. This was on Friday, Jan. 24. He had replacements shipped out on Monday, Jan. 27 ‐ very prompt - and NYTOP even refunded the duties ($242 CAD/$176 USD) on the replacement order. THAT is top-notch customer service!

In the spirit of giving credit where credit is due, I want to give a huge shout out to NYTOP (nytop.com) for their amazing products and fantastic customer service.

Thank you NYTOP / nytop.com!

I'm impressed with what I've seen from them as well.

i've heard really good things about them, too. im personally not a fan of how many things are overlays that have double-sided tape, but thats a me thing (because i vastly prefer replacements to overlays), and i am certain that it has no meaningful effect on the durability of their parts. i would've absolutely bought something from them if they had more Dark Horse parts that didnt conflict with my future widebody kit plans

Fender flare (cracked, but installed as mock up)
Hood vent

Their products are works of art. Like 100% ballin'.

Not a fan of the tape on things either... but gonna try the rear diffuser... waiting on warmer weather to install. Thinking in rear may be okay, of course so much of the new cars are put together that way anyway. Just look at the DH with HP front splitter... tape and glue there, not sure I could live with that in the front of the car. (I got the RTR splitter... installs with screws)

Great company to work with, however, I did lose my front splitter extension when the snow came through Texas a few weeks ago. It was the poly version so it was probably brittle from being out in the cold. Never went above 40 mph and hit something somewhere, because I didn't realize it had broken off until I got home. Didn't hear or feel anything. They don't offer a warranty on any of their products, so I'm looking elsewhere for a replacement.

Did you use OEM push pins to install fender flares? I have a Dark Horse from the European market and the OEM push pins are too short and the ones attached by NYTOP are too thick and can't be pushed in.

Canadian car, used OEM push pins, all are short.
I saw long and short ones on NYTOP website installation instructions.
Installed just fine on my car.

I'd think it's difficult to warranty a product if user hits something.

the HP splitter actually does not use glue or tape. it is secured in place with screws and bolts, and clips into the bottom edge of the front bumper. this is why handling package dark horses come from factory without the splitter installed

Yeah, I ordered the HP splitter from my local Ford Dealer (Fraser Ford, Cobourg, Ontario - great people 🙂), used 88,000 FordPass points for a sweet discount. There are only screws etc in the box, no tape. Can't wait to install in the spring.

I was looking at some of their stuff but wasn’t familiar with them. I might have to reconsider based on the positive feedback.
