According to the linked article; a company called Fusion (never heard of ‘em) is producing “official” Eleanor Mustangs; ala the Nick Cage version of Gone in Sixty Seconds (a lame second place finisher to the original).

didn't this get resolved in a court case?

I thought Shelby had the rights to the likeness and name?

Fusion is saying they got the rights from Denise Halicki, but she lost her court case and has no legal right to license anything.

Just to clarify neither Shelby nor the lady have the rights to "elanor" and it's likeness because it was decided in court that there is no likeness for "elanor" to be attributed to as the original "elanor" was just a painted 71 mustang.
