I have waited 765 days, or 2 years and 25 days to make a contribution to this thread! Finally, my car arrived at the dealer this morning, delivery scheduled for next week.

My first ever view of the car.......................................

Sitting in the delivery bay, still needs pre-delivery, but it looks superb.

On Tuesday, I finally took delivery of my S650. After such a long, drawn out process, I can safely say that it was worth the wait.

My new car had an older sidling keeping it company.

I also got the opportunity to have my old S550 and new S650 side by side. The S550 sat in same position 7 years ago, so it was fitting to leave it there as I drove away in the new car. Was a special moment, it gathering a number of the dealership staff to take it in. Also, can you tell I like Red................................

Home at last, 771 days in the making.

And a couple of shots taken today after taking it for drive just for the hell of it. The rear end is my favorite angle of the car.

I wish we had access to spoiler in Australia, its not part of the Performance Pack here, nor can you order it as a single factory or dealer fitted item.

Just a passing thought. My first wife used to wear a black pants outfit with a red blouse, and I admit she looked stunning. My second wife looked best in blue with black accents. If there is anything wrong with these assessments, it is the fact I've outlived them both!
