Well it depends on who you ask. Just had my Ford Performance Street Pack Suspension upgrade and had them change the oil while they had the car. I prefer AMSOIL and gave them 10 quarts of Fully synthetic 5W30. Checked the oil the next morning and was 1/2 quart low. Went to dealership and asked why because I gave you 10 qts. Their computers say the 2024 GT takes 9 1/2 qts. I looked at the screen and it says 9.5. They gave me my half full quart back and I went home and topped her off. I swear I’ve seen the spec listed as 10 quarts. But can’t remember where. I’m putting in 10. If they changed the spec they should send us new dip sticks. It’s crazy that full is now half full on my stick. I asked the service writer if Ford has a dip stick mod kit. He actually started to look it up. So………
I believe the Owners Manual says, 10 Quarts including the Filter?

You are correct.
The fancy User manual for 2024 Mustangs that everyone got in that fancy leather bound pouch neatly placed in the glove box.

Ed date 202212
2.3L page 369: 6 Quarts/5.7 Liters
5.0L page 370 10 Quarts/9.5 Liters
Both 2.3 and 5.0 quantities include filter.
Hmm….. I wonder if some genius at Ford inserted Liters in their maintenance computers for the 5.0 instead of Quarts?🤔

The modern 5.0 needs a lot of oil. The variable timing and all that runs on oil pressure. Also there is quite a bit of oil running through the oil cooler which I don't think the 80s-90s 5.0s had.
Mine needs closer to 12qt to have the oil level show almost mid way on the stick. I have PP
