So by adding a catch can will that void the warranty?

A catch can should not void your warranty as it protects the engine and improves efficiency. That being said, it's always good to ask your dealer if they will install it for you to maintain the warranty if you have any concerns. Each service department has a different mission, and some are pro-customer, and some are not. UPR Oil Separator Catch Cans are a complex patented design that is head and shoulders above any other brands in the industry.
The other brands' only concern is to sell volume and make them as cheap as possible. You will see them put side by side in construction and performance. We make our kits, so they perform the best overall with placement and internal airflow. They might not always be the simplest to R&R, as the most important aspect for us is the performance and overall quality of the product.
We have updated the S550 and S650 a few times to be easier for R&R, but we do not sacrifice performance for convenience. Having cleaner combustion and better overall performance is the key to longevity with any combustion engine.
