I would love to be wrong about belt driven oil pump. It's a stupid idea but it is clearly done on the truck engine. What is unbelievable about thinking the 5.0 mustang has the same architecture as the 5.0 in the truck? I thought the only differences were cams, intake, exhaust, compression ratio etc. Do you have any images of the 2024 mustang 5.0 showing the oil pump?Go ask in the F150 forums…
Unbelievable the level of misinformation about 24 mustangs
Then the search engine sucks because I searched "oil pump" on this forum and came up with nothing. I was not here 18 months ago. Do you have a link to this information?Because this was cleared up pre vehicle launch a year and a half ago… same with cylinder deactivation.
