Edmunds reviews mentioned, the performance pack you get the black painted grille and hood vent

So the GT Premium without PP what do they get? Hard to tell from all the photos and Ford builder does not say what non PP gets.

I think non painted grille and especially hood vent will look bad, especially on shadow black. That non painted black plastic never wears well (fade)

I'm going Nite Pony on shadow black and dread the black plastic fade

Trim & Bumper Paint – Duplicolor

This stuff fixes faded black plastic just awesome, looks like new and does not peel or fade.

All GTs will have the painted grill and hood vent. Here’s a base GT.
Photos of the car above :like:

What really sucks is that the grill and vent are a different gloss black plastic and the rest of the car is cheap, flat black injected urethane. Every manufacturer BUT Ford has the grilles matching. Cheap looking. And I loathe the big, bulky, rear valance.

I had read that too. If they don’t come gloss black I will be very upset, especially because I got the nite pony package.
Luckily I think @Twin Turbo is correct.

I'm not 100% on this yet. I know the grille surround and heat extractor are gloss black either way, but on the builder it almost looks like the grill mesh changes when you remove the performance package

Yeah I noticed that too, as well as it says"painted grille" as part of PP

Can someone with 401A and PP post their window sticker? I can compare to 401A w/o and see if there's any mention of the grille

On my phone so only have access to a smaller version but I can tell you there's no mention of a painted grille with the 401a Pp

The GT has a unique high gloss black painted front grille.
The PP has grille - painted ebony black.
It is different but not sure how much.

I posted pictures earlier showing a base GT with the painter grill and hood vent. Don’t know why there’s still questions about it lol

Because it's in no way clear that the grille itself is painted in those pictures. All you can really see is that the grille surround is painted. Idk why the vent is part of the discussion since the pp doesn't mention it
