Now where did you hear that? I did upgrade to the AVE but now my VIN number and look up options provide no information and do not even go to the page.
For what it's worth - my dealer Ford rep - although, I cancelled my order and bought from stock my order is still in the que as the dealer didn't cancel it they are going to take delivery and I may still buy it. So, I'm still getting notices from Ford and info from the dealer. The order went in on May 3rd over two months and no scheduled build date (which are BS anyway) no VIN, Ford currently is a mess.

When I ordered in May my dealer said 3-4 months. Now when I just went back and changed it last week they didnt even think they could change anything and then they were able to anyway. They are supposed to call me this week to let me know if the changes went in. So, I agree completely FORD is a mess. Also my dealer said that he used to have a guy he could call and find information about what was going on and they took that guy out of the loop. As the sales manager he says he knows very little of what they are really going to do. Thanks

With all due respect, the dealerships don't have much visibility into what's going on at the assembly plants.

From what i can tell those at the assembly plants don't have much of a clue as to what is going on either.
Half production during June and a shipment halt on export models built from mid may.

I notice from my ford pass app that the service schedule is only valid for vehicles built up until the end of may.
Yup, I ended up calling the Marketing office and asked about it all and he stated that my date is the 6th of Sept even though my online part is not working. So, just a waiting game. I have learned a lot on this forum about the crappy process they have now a days.

I ordered on 5/14. Received my vin on 6/19. Was told originally build date the week of 8/19 but did receive an email from Ford saying build date changed to the week of 8/26. My dealer called and told me the build date is 8/23. Not sure if that will happen or not. Mine is GT convertible with PP, AE and magneride. If it can’t happen as a 2024 model and it ends up as a 2025 model, hopefully my order will go to the top of the pile. 😉

Someone posted in this thread and another one that FRAP, Flat Rock assembly plant is closed the months of July and August so who knows. I called today and they are saying 9/6 for me now but I am getting a call tomorrow morning finding out more info.

Please tell. Haha

Well, I was able to talk to Ford shop and my dealership.

My update to add
Active Valve Performance Exhaust
was added and updated.

I was unable to access, for a number of days, the website while the update was in process.

My build date is listed as 9/2/24 which had been confirmed by both.

So, you as well as anyone, knows when this thing is going to be built.

Update,

Found out today my Priority Code is 3. The only car the dealership is currently waiting on.

So very wishful thinking going on here on my part!!

Yeah - I would have been in the same boat - but I chose to move on and find one on the ground and because of that I'm this much farther along with my mods ... 401A, Premium, PP, Recaros, A10 ...

Snakeyes,

That is one awesome looking car. What mods are you ending up putting on?

1. What is the split pipe for?
2. Does the car have the enhanced exhaust?
3. Ok, where do I get the American flag that you have under the 5.0? Love that
4. Is there a list or do you have a list of available mods?

I do have some ideas for mods but I very picky. LOL

Thank you so much for sharing. I really love what you have done!!

Supply chain issues have stopped production until August 5th. All it takes is a train derailment, truck overturning, or a stuck cargo ship to cause weeks of backlog.
While FRAP is down all of July this is also a HUGE factor. My ex is in supply and logistics for a hated EV company however she used to talk to me all the time about "This truck was held up at the border, I'm trying to get it across within the next few hours otherwise this plant will close down". (clarity; talking about the MX/US border)

The auto companies run these things so lean that as 1 part comes in to the plant that same part is going out. They may keep a small stash of some very high priority components, or some that have high failure rates in QA, however their inventory levels are near 1 out / 1 in. If a butterfly farts in the amazon and causes ripples in the space time continuum then the plant can shut down.

Since FRAP is shut down right now I don't expect to see any updates until the week my car is actually scheduled to go into production.

Well, some more news. Delayed another week to 9/9/2024. Got the email today.

The system that Ford is using is very poor.
Same week for me

if you got a vin it will be built never seen anyone with a vin order get canceled
The guy who ordered my Dark Horse car was built and was waiting to be put on a train when he cancelled. It was a early build so I got the handling package. As the white one I went to order never had the HP as they were on hold. So I took the ordered one only difference from what I wanted was color it was black. Because of all this ordered car on 2023,12,21 and was delivered 2024,01,12 so I was very lucky no real wait all came together nicely. So it does happen.
