So after some night driving past few days, I do notice the vertical light bars from other car lights when looking out back window through rear view mirror, though it's not quite as pronounced as the pictures you posted. I'm guessing something with the tint + rear view mirror + lines across back window. I don't remember what it looked like before the tint, but even now it's not too distracting.

Personally, the level of darkness at night is okay for me with the 35% tint, but I probably wouldn't want any lower like some people do (20% or even 5% I see people do).

I'm sure the 50% would help with the darkness part!
Any chance you can take a photo through your rearview mirror like I have so I can take it to my tint guy as "proof". He's claiming that every single mustang is like mine.

Have had my 2024 GT Premium since January, and decided to get ppf (front/track package), ceramic coating, and 35% tint professionally installed a few weeks ago. Expensive, but happy with the results and should keep it looking great for years to come.

I had all the Windows Tinted, except for the Windshield on our 2024 GT Mustang, 401-A, etc.
I believe I also did the 35% tint which is legal in Colorado.
As far as Night Driving goes you should be able to see out of the rear window through your rear view mirror without any problems.
Where you have to be careful is when you are making left and right turns when at a stop light 🚦.

Picked up our factory order 2025 GT premium last week. Vapor blue, nightshade option. Trying to learn about film vs ceramic coating options. I'm leaning towards just one or the other but want to know if film is a good option or just go with ceramic coating?
