So I have been battling this for years. green tree pollen and dust all over the car within a day of washing/waxing. I also get what I call "mud rain" .So how do you guys deal with this? If I do a quick hose off, I get water spots because my water is hard as a rock... Any suggestions for a quick clean before heading out on a trip?

For me, I put on a ceramic coat. It creates a shell that is easy to wash off pollen because the water just beads right off. Does the same for rain, so you don’t get the dirty droplet residue after a shower.

May and early June are the worst for pollen and pretty much unavoidable for me. I'm installing a cheaper 10'x15' canopy this weekend. Cost a couple hundred bucks on Amazon and it should give it a bit better protection, especially from the rain drops.

I use denatured water in a sprinkling can. It takes about 2 gallons for the final rinse. Then blow dry. Very minimal spotting. Touch up with detailer. Much cheaper than using spot free systems.

Sprayer free hose and chamois, zero pressure let the water just cascade over the car/section then chamois dry or air dry via quick drive (but not too quick don’t want to stir up the dust) around the block - some use leaf blowers to simulate a drive
