I'm going to have my 2024 Mustang GT dyno's in Januay. What I would like to be advised of are the proper settings etc. for a dyno: i.e. correct engine temp, what gear (10 speed) does one start in, run in normal or Sport or...? Any other settings? Thank you.

I'm sure the dyno place should know how to set everything up...
Up to operating temp, make sure they have some big fans to keep airflow through the radiator etc. Normally you would want 1:1 gear ratio (7th), but I don't think that is possible depending on your diff gear ratio/trim level, as you would likely hit the speed limiter at max rpm.

SAE smoothing 5 in 7th gear, manual mode, let her rip.
May run out of RPM due to speed limiter depending on gears, tune.

If you have to go down to 6th to wind it out your numbers will read lower

That’s all there is to it.
