Well, I don't have any heartbeat. Even after pushing the start button. I get this old Ford chime, the three tone that every Ford car has. No heartbeat, means the pony is dead.

I would occasionally get that chime on my S550. I think it was tied to a low voltage condition at start up. Not saying that's what's going on with yours, but it might be worth looking at.Well, I don't have any heartbeat. Even after pushing the start button. Voltage is perfect. No issues at all. No, I haven't changed anything for the sound system.I would occasionally get that chime on my S550. I think it was tied to a low voltage condition at start up. Not saying that's what's going on with yours, but it might be worth looking at.
Have you made any modifications to your sound system?
Has it ever done the heartbeat sound since you've owned it?Voltage is perfect. No issues at all. No, I haven't changed anything for the sound system.
Yes all the time, until some stupid update came.Has it ever done the heartbeat sound since you've owned it?
That sucks.Yes all the time, until some stupid update came.
Yes, thank you. It SHOULD come on every time you push the start button.I just tested mine several times, and can confirm the heart beat sound comes on every time you push start button. It does not matter if the e-brake is on, or if I use remote start or not.
I do have to wonder if it's tied to the B&O sound system or its settings since I always get the B&O logo on my screen on start up. Can anyone confirm that non-B&O cars have the heart beat?
Ive heard its the update.Yes, thank you. It SHOULD come on every time you push the start button.
Here is an example at roughly 16:43 -
As I say, it made this sound at the dealership when they were walking me through the OS. But ever since then it’s gone - it never plays at all now. I don’t know why. It has nothing to do with seatbelts or doors or the other things folks are suggesting here - it’s literally a start up sound as far as I know. I want it back. :-/
Mine does that intermittently, a few times it reverted back to the old Ford chime. weird. Im use to it now. Half the time I can't hear it over my exhaust pipes. lolHi everyone, I've got a question that I haven't been able to find an answer to no matter what terms I search. Maybe I'm using the wrong language, but I'm hoping you can offer some insight.
When you get into your Mustang, there's typically a little drumbeat-type sound... do-do-do-do...do-do-do-do.
When I sat in my Mustang at the dealership upon pick up, it made that sound. But it's stopped making that sound entirely. I'm just wondering what triggers this? Is there a way to turn it on? I've hunted through all the settings and can't find anything.
I might be the odd one out here, but I really like the sound, haha. I want to hear it. But nothing I do seems to change whether it plays or not. For example, I heard that it plays if you don't plug in your seat belt... but whether I do or don't, nothing changes.
I'm still not sure if I'm describing this well enough, but if you know what I'm talking about, any advice would be great. Thanks!
