I pushed the Ford built 2.3L in my mazdaspeed to just over 400hp/400trq at the wheels. That car was incredible. Looks like the current EBs are still safe to that 400 range. With RWD and A10, that thing would fly.
Would it even be faster than a stock Coyote?

Yeah, I think so. Especially at elevation. I believe bolt on, stock turbo, stock block EB mustangs were running 11s.

you think so or you have videos of them?

there are a couple fast ones (usually shop cars) online but they have weight taken out etc, but most of them seem stuck in the 12's and aren't matching the trap speeds of the coyotes (116-118)

I think so. There are times posted on several forums. Some even have videos. Looks like the 11s may have fuel or turbo but I didn’t look too long.

Was a Tesla model 3 in the test?

pretty sure they’re 35K and would’ve dominated

I found this for the pricing:
The price of the 2025 Tesla Model 3 starts at $44,130 and goes up to $56,630 depending on the trim and options.

And this is what I found for performance from the base Model 3:

The Tesla Model 3 base model has a 0-60 mph time of 4.66 seconds and finished the quarter-mile run in 13.3 seconds at 103 mph1. The all-wheel-drive Tesla Model 3 with two electric motors has a quarter mile time of 11.6 seconds and a trap speed of 114.4 mph2.

There is ZERO denying the new 2025 Tesla Model 3 is the absolute best NEW car you can buy under 100k at the moment if you are talking straight up performance. Yes straight and corners.

EDIT: Paying cash it is right around 60K for a sub 3 second 0-60 and sub 10 second 1320' can run on a track for a few laps with no charge - Damn hard to beat in that price range

Yeah, I think the EV credits, as well as car prices going up in general. I think they were around $35 when released, but all cars have gone way up since then.

And BTW, I didn't bold the price in that last post to make a point or anything, that's just how it pasted in.

Tough to say. I was at a traffic light next to another S650 with the Ecoboost the other month. The MT-82 is no match for an A10... even with the Ecoboost. However, I'm ok with that because I knew that buying the car to begin with and I enjoy the experience with the manual (regardless of the negativity surrounding the MT-82. I don't drag/track my car 🤷‍♂️).

I hope they flush those EV credits, I am tired of paying for them!
If they are so efficient the cost should be lower not more. The credits should go toward the more expensive to use (gas guzzler) since there is limited supply of go juice for the dying breed.

Simply the ablity to get to a wait state quicker. How many does the ice bypass while they sit to recharge?
