Can anyone with the power seats confirm if these latches work? I have the 401a package and I keep pulling on the latches and nothing is happening. I feel like I'm going to break them off. For access to the back seat I move the seat bottom forward with the power switch and then move the seat back with the lever at the side/bottom. Is that correct?

Sometimes on my S550, I have to push the top of the seat back to get the latch to release.

I will agree sometimes it is a pain in my Dark Horse.

The one on the passenger side works. The one on the driver side is busted, the little wire in the handle just disconnected.

Yes they do work, just pull a little harder and they will release

Yes it works, just make sure your back rest handle on the side is fully down flat, then should be easy to pull the latch at back. When you push seat back it should go back to the position you adjust with the side handle

Took it to a dealer and they said it wasn't connected properly. Didn't take long for them to fix it. Works fine now. 😉
