I very much dislike the new design language though..... I hope those rear hips never make it past the concept phase.... Just looks so out of place and doesn't flow well at all.

to be honest, I don't think you're very far off of what the new mustang will look like. I feel like Ford will incorporate this look along with alot of cues from the Mach E when the new Mustang family of vehicles arrives. I'm truly hoping that Ford will incorporate a bit of the interior of the designs of the EVOS/Equator/Mach E (although only use small things from the Mach E).

Just as a point for discussion, I think it is pretty interesting that Ford named the car Evos. The 2013 Evos Concept was a pretty clear preview of the S550 design. Every bodyline of the concept can be found on the final Mustang with just a few adjustments to make everything fit the proportions of the ponycar.

So if Ford decided to copy the Evos design for the Mustang again, I think the rendering could be as close as the 13 Evos was to the 15 Mustang.

Nice job on the render, but I hope it does not look like that. I think the front of the current Mustang looks much better. The rendering is inflicted with the same oversized grill disease of almost all new cars. I expect the next Mustang will have a way too big grill and thus an ugly front, so I expect your rendering might be accurate. I just hope it doesn't turn out that way.

need to take at least 2 inches out of the sheetmetal and add it to the greenhouse. Otherwise the similarity to Camaro is WAY too much. The more rounded nose of the Mustang should be kept instead of the very flat Camaro look. I agree that front grills have gotten entirely out of hand.

That was pretty much want I wanted to achieve, trying to get as close as Ford could go with the new design.
I maybe will make a tweaked version to make the rendering much more "Mustang looking" with some changes to the frontend and how I personally would want the car to look like.

As promised here is a slightly tweaked version, how I personally would give the frontend a more Mustang look, even though I think Ford could stick more to what the original rendering is showing.

With the reveal of the Ford Evos I got the feeling that the new Mustang will use a pretty similiar design language. A few hours in photoshop later I can present you my new Renderings for the upcoming Mustang.

I actually really like the outcome how single frame grille and the Evos-bodylines look on a 2-door fastback.

Now we only need a few prototypes on the streets to get a real glimpse what is doing with the S650

What the heck is going on with the rear quarters, it looks like it wants wings? The blue one jumped in my face and yells "Crapmero" to me. Besides the quarter panel, I hate the headlights, the grilI, the body part under the quarter window, and the weird indent in the door. Other than that it looks pedestrian, and like it drove into something before it hardened up, like a broken/flat nose. I hope this isn't what they end up building, it really blows chunks!

They should build the 2013 Evos, it is gorgeous!

I think the new (top) version looks slightly more Mustang, but both look attractive, great work Ace!

I think the leading edge of the bonnet/hood and/or headlamps could be a little lower maybe. Some sort of ‘power bulge’ similar to the Australian Ford Falcon/FPV would make the bonnet look a little let ordinary, and also less like a Camaro.

The S550 was already to copycat of the Vantage, even down to the fangs in the grille that some special models had

I think it's handsome, and certainly Ace did an amazing job with the rendering. The rendering quality is terrific.

In my opinion the car is a little staid. Maybe this could be a Lincoln version of the Mustang. I might be a little immature for this car as rendered.
