Reverse camera while driving forward

Is there any way to program the rear camera to work while driving forward?

Our Huyndai Tucson has a button for it. When you press it, you have the rear camera enabled. That's a neat feature I would like on my Stang.

Start the car. Don't wait that infotainment start up. Put R than D. It stuck on camera To turn off just put in M or N than again D

I tried it just a minute ago. Didn't work for me

I’ve been able to ‘glitch’ it a couple of times but seems to stop after a specific speed. I want to say it happened when initially in reverse (camera actively displaying) shifting into a forward gear and crawling forward.

closest thing is to go into
Settings > Driver Assistance > Rear View Camera Delay
this setting will keep the rear view camera on-screen until you shift to Park or go over 8kmh (~5mph)

Maybe Im just old but the one time mine got stuck on...between the road out the windsheild and the screen out the back of the car- I got a little dizzy lol

when you get to the age you need to turn the radio down to follow direction/ see where you are going… all sorts of weird things start happening lol

I have had some experience with the rear view camera being enabled while driving forward. For me it was very distracting.

I didn't ask if others would like to have this option.

I asked if it was possible to have this option.

One eye on each and pick a gear, take a bet / guess which direction.

F-Mods has a mod for this feature. I recently installed said mod and it works great if you have Sync 3.

First go on the F-Mods site and jail-break your Sync 3. This process is very easy, only one flash drive is required. Then go to mods and download the reverse camera mod which puts a camera icon on your home screen that calls the reverse camera on demand.

The only problem I had was, when I would accelerate to a certain speed (I think around 20 MPH) it would cut off, the screen would go blue and give an error message. After 10 seconds or so, it would revert back to the home screen. Using Forscan, in the BdyCM, I changed the rear camera configuration from BCM to IPMB and that fixed the issue (as suggested on the said mod page). Now the rear camera works flawlessly on demand regardless of speed.
