@roadpilot - Been a minute since I've had time for the forum. Saw your post about the scratch. Have you gotten it resolved yet? Hoping you can get it back to the way it was.

I seem to recall a post where you mentioned (I think) installing a dash cam. Have you decided on one yet and/or had one installed?

I made an appointment with my detailer, but I had to postpone it.

No, I have not yet decided on a dash cam setup up. I have a Viofo A129 Pro Duo 4K in my F150 that I've been very happy with. Not sure if I'll go Viofo (A229?) with the DH or go a different direction.

Thanks for the reply! I've been researching them and have also followed the thread on here and on the 6th Gen forum. My challenge will be having a vert and a rear cam installation that doesn't look janky. Will be following to see what you end up doing.

Received the Blackstone oil analysis back for the sample from my first oil change (original factory fill). Everything looks good.

Nice! Were you gentle during break-in? I certainly wasn't. Here's mine at close to the same mileage for comparison:

I wasn't gentle, but I didn't beat the piss out of it, either. Maybe a half dozen times over 4k. Otherwise, reasonably docile.

Bummer man... I feel your pain... it never ends... polishing up the old hot rod (show car) the other day, found a big scratch in it, had a set of wheels on another car redone a month or two ago (powder coated), and they have a big chip out of them already. I try to reserve myself to the fact if you drive it, it will get wear and tear. Hopefully it buffs out OK and all will be well.... until you drive it again, lol.
Well, good news and bad news.

Good news: The foot long scratch along the driver's fender was light enough to be buffed out by my detail/ceramic coat guy. He said it looks great.

Bad news: What I thought was a "tar blob" or some sort of goop on the top horizontal section of the front bumper cover (immediately in front of the hood) is not tar or goop. He said a rock hit it and cratered the plastic bumper cover.

My good buddy who ran a body shop for ~20 years told me it can be repaired and repainted. So, I don't have to R&R an entire front bumper cover (it's all one piece). The design of the bumper cover and the location of the damage means only that top horizontal strip of the bumper cover will need to be repainted (then re-ceramic coated), so I'm thankful for that.

Not the end of the world, but still a hassle to deal with. Sigh.

Driver's side fender scratch is no more. He buffed it out with a rubbing compound and reapplied the entire front fender with the IGL Kenzo ceramic coating. Looks great!

I don't think PPF would have survived that impact. It works good for small stuff but after a certain size nothing will work.

Holy shit! That was a big something that tagged it. Think it was the same object that caused both issues?

My guy got my scratch out by wet sanding and polishing. Got lucky.

Seriously considering one of those bubbles to park it in 🤣

No, not the same object..
Almost wonder if the other half went in the nostril…and/or if anything found it’s way that direction as well - picturing a piece of rock-salt impacted/stuck in the filter.

Impact was past the opening, so if it did break up, it wouldn't have been able to go in there.

My buddy looked @ it this morning. He said piece of cake to fix.

I'm glad you can fix it. I need to get get some chips fixed on my car that weren't PPF.
