i fear i may need another bank 2 catalytic converter and cylinder head replaced. i went out to get some food and noticed a lot more pops from the exhaust than normal. i pulled over and used my VCM Lite to look at PIDs and lo and behold; O2S21 was stable, O2S22 was erratic. those are the oxygen sensor PIDs, and that's how they reacted 5 months ago when this happened the first time. no check engine light yet, but super odd this happened again

its not 100% perfect and for some reason you cant remove the stock hood vinlys, but its close enough for me to be happy

might swap out my tail lights to the Form Lighting ones. they seem overall better than the Auto Addicts ones, and most importantly, do not require running a wire to the 3rd brake light for amber indicators. also the amber indicators seem to be the correct shade instead of Auto Addicts' yellow. might also sell the Auto Addicts ones to whoever may want them. i originally paid $530, but being used, i might sell them for $270 or so

im setting aside everything else to focus on wheels. Project 6GR finally released flow formed ten-d wheels, but not 19x12s. after some thinking, im gonna drop the 355 width rear tires and go to 345s, and up the wheel diameter to 20s. i will keep my current wheels as track wheels and fit them with Hoosier A7s for autocross

Looks like they have all the good sizes... the 20x11 +14 and 20x11.5 +43 look a bit odd though, perhaps a wide body (GTD) spec? I need to quit lookin at them...

those are listed as GT500 spec wheels, because it has a widebody and comes factory with a 20x11" square setup

my "titanium" exhaust might actually be aluminum. i just checked with my Moh's hardness picks and it scratched from the level 4 pick

i dont understand why they put so much work into faking it so well

so, i was so wrong here. i dont know how it got scratched, but i did the grinding test today. it sparked white like titanium should. still gonna be replacing it due to pretty poor fitment. the exhaust tips refuse to stay aligned. plus, im not a fan of the overall tone
