Which "harness" ties back the aftermarket amp back to the factory wiring? I was trying myself to find out with this exact kit, but I couldn't sort out with their instructions and never purchased it.

I plan on swapping the factory amp and running a better one with a DSP, but no matter where I Look, I cannot sort how to tie the new amp back into the factory harness. Any luck with you install?
I just got the PAC kit. I’ll let you know next week when it’s on. I got a taramps 2000W amp

Nice, good luck on the install. I'd be interested in seeing how the new amp can tie back in.

It depends on which setup you have. There are a few different setups for the 9 speaker and b&o setup. And I listed the stuff for the 6 speaker car above. I’d do the maestro a2b setup for the 9 speaker or b&o car.

You guys can use this PAC Bypass to remove the factory DSP/ Amp mounted in the left quarter panel & grab signal from the head unit to run to a proper 4 channel. This bypass retains all chimes and controls they @ a preset level. It also lets you use a aftermarket DSP or assign frequency values to the three adjustable settings on the radio. The only OEM DSP controlled speakers in the S650 are the doors & deck(subwoofer too). For a proper system, you’ll have to run wires from center speaker & pillars to the 4 channel.

going to attempt this project later this month. I’ll post pics once it is done
98j,
I might have missed this, but is that to upgrade he B&O set up? Can it be used for either? I'm looking to upgrade my system in my 2024 B&O, after already chaning out the subw only (somehow I didnt break anything).
I willl not try on my own to upgrade anything else. But I want to buy what I need and take it to an installer and say here do it lol.
*Also what is the "Maestro A to B?. I'm clueless. Do I get that too? And what speakers?. Is 'everyone' changing out all of them ? adding some?? or just chaniging out some?
Hopefully these questions are inline with the post!
TIA

You might want to go find a dealer who carries higher end brands. You want an Audison, arc audio, helix, or on the lower end audio control. You need a dsp amp and someone who knows how to tune it was rough for me to find a dealer to install the stuff I brought to them.

But the system he linked. Or the maestro A2b module will intergrate the b&o setup

So I should ideally buy the two maestro products, if I can get an installer to use those, right? If not then ideally the dealer has the brands you listed?
And get a DSP amp, with that installer knowing how to tune it, right?

edit : I went to the maestro site and it says that those items are for the 9 speaker system. It can be used for the B&O, also , right? TY!

All parts are in. Dark horse is going in the shop on Saturday. Here’s the breakdown of how I’m doing it

The pillars have Pioneer TS-A301TW 3/4’s
The center dash & upper door mids have Kicker 51KSC2704 s
The bottom door woofers are B&C 6MDN44 6.5”s
The deck speakers are JL C1-650X coaxials.

The subwoofer is a pioneer dual voice 10”.

The doors & deck will be wired from the DSP mounted in the rear

I ran wires from the pillars and center console to the spare tire

my installer is building a rack, wiring the PAC bypass & 4 channel. I expect it to be 110% times better than the shitty B&O.

You should call maestro and match the info. But honestly find a reputable install shop, talk to a few local places and find someone who does this stuff daily. If you goto audisons site you can look for thier dealer network. What area are you in. I can probably source you someone to talk too. What’s your budget. My system was about 8k all in.

I’m having a good friend of mine who overhauled the audio on my S550 do it

Taramps amp was $240
Pioneer Amp was $250
Pioneer Sub was $80
B&C Speakers were $200 for both
Kickers were $100 for all 4
Pioneer Pillars were $40
JL’s were $110
PAC Unit was $380
RCAs were $40
Wiring was $2”

I did most of the install, the installer for the rack and 4 channel is charging $300

total cost is around $2k

it would probably be around 3-4K overall if I had a shop do everything

Yes going to a good shop will really help. I'm in Fort Lauderdale, FL. 40 mins north of Miami. If you know of anyone in actual Ft Lauerdale to Hollywood, broward county, that would be really helpful.
My budget for this is far less than yours. My expectations a lot lower i'm sure!. I just want my sound to be like my last car (that was stolen, therefore the new stang). If I found an audio person that knows what that sounded like that would be perfect, though I know not likely. What sounds great to me might be ehhh to anyone else lol. But right now the stang is ehhh to me.

I was hoping to get decent sound for max $2,500 . Not counting the subw which I already did on my own.

TIA

Thanks for listing all that. I'm hoping to get sound for my tastes for $2,500 max. Really $2,000. I just posted that in my last reply to Bigemike. I might be totally satisfied replacing the back deck speakers and putting a good amp and other stuff (i'm a newbie ) I guess dsp and the maestro which seems like an adapter from the head unit to the rest. Best thing is I need to go to a reputable car audio place. At least now I have a bit to know what to start to talk about
TIA!

I would go see Audio Logic 6015 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, FL 33024
I would think a budget of $3500-4000 would really get you something nice.
I would want a multichannel amp with dsp, proper integration hardware like the PAC stuff or Maestro.
Get good components, good brands would be Focal, Morel, or Hertz
Dont worry about rear speakers, for your budget, focus on your front stage and as much power as you can afford. Good amps would be Hertz, Audison (my personal favorite, the Forza line is super nice) or Helix.
Then a Sub amp, not as critical, you can go for bang for you buck, but I would recommend about 1000w rms.
Sound deadaning would be great as well, speaker install in the front is critical.
You do have one of the best shops in the country about 4 hours away with 5 Star car audio in clearwater. I would totally reccomend them and would use them without question, they will get you exactly what you need. They have an incredible youtube channel and the work they do is second to none. https://www.fivestarcarstereofl.com/

I'll go to Audio Logic, really thanks for that. Would be hard to go to clearwater esp since i might need to go a few times to tune things, etc.
*If I just focused on the front, then I'm thinking I'd feel simllar as now, that the sound is all in the front and not all around. I'm trying to feel more immersive.

If you know about sound in other car models, I last had an acura TLX with panasonic 16 speaker ELS system from factory. I'd be fine with a sound like that. I was told it wasnt that amazing from my friends, but I'm totally fine and happy with it.
I bbet you the hollywood store knows about how that sounds though! . Really thanks for the info you put on this thread, even if I dont go all that route I dont feel totally clueless anymore. NOt that you were here to teach anyone!

I looked into it but the Idatalink use chart doesn't like the '24 B&O system as being compatible. Any confirmation anywhere that it does work with it?
