Hey all. I’m wondering if any of you had some of these issues. When driving, I hear sorta like a jiggle or slight rattle which seems like it’s coming from my driver door window. Very odd.
Also , I encountered the rear seat deck rattling very loud. Any fixes to that?
And last, when at high speed, I think wind is getting into the vehicle, causing a crackling type odd noise. Anyone familiar with these?

I think I heard a buzzing, or rattle once.

I turned on sport mode and not only felt a lot better, I found the ride much more soothing.

Hi OP, I agree with others that perhaps videos that show the sounds you are hearing would be helpful for us to identify the source.

There might be a chance that when driving you are hearing the 2k RPM rattle. I'll leave the link below to Mustang6G that talks about this.

Now the other two sounds you are describing... lol sadly that kind of sounds like poor build quality to me.

I probably shouldn't jinx myself, but this is the tightest Mustang I have ever driven. My 2003 GT vert had a buzz behind the dash that I could never fix. I had the cluster, A/C controls and everything else removed and sitting in my lap as I drove and still had the problem. I finally gave up and turned up the stereo :)

The only 'annoying noises and rattles' I hear come from these forums ...

Waiting patiently for the Guccification crowd to chime in with how much quieter their m3 is.
Squeaks and rattles in a new car in this day and age are basically unacceptable. It’s one thing for these to develop over time, but a new car shouldn’t have these issues regardless of price, IMO. Unfortunately, it often comes with the territory with Mustangs (both of my previous Mustangs had some squeaks and rattles).

Ok then, I gotta know - if this is so bothersome and you had not one but two previous ones with squeaks and rattles, why would you buy a third?

Seriously, I’m not trying to troll you here, why would you buy a third Mustang if the 2 previous admittedly didn’t meet your standard of satisfaction?

Squeaks and rattles are annoying AF. My Raptor has the twin panel moonroof ( hit up youtube for ‘broken f150 moonroof’ ). They make noise and can break pretty easily under some circumstances. After mine broke, got repaired I kept hearing an annoying rattle once in a while that finally got the better of me. I spent the better part of an hour emptying out my cab - all the tie downs, cables, straps, kinetic rope, come-along, shovel, zip ties, ski mask, duct tape, center console, glove box... thinking I had everything, I took a test drive over bumpy back roads.
Dammit. No rattles. Put everything back, and of course, rattle was back. On and on and on this went. It ended up being something under the rear seat tray.

At least I didn’t have to go back on the moonroof...

but again, if you can let this stuff dominate your life, happiness will elude you.
get a drive and listen to the 302 cubic inch symphony and life will improve.

Had the same problem. Both sides. In my case it was the door panel plastic rubbing against the door itself, near the door latch. Put some dense foam in between and problem is gone.

I haven’t bought a third, but if I did, it would be because the fun of driving a Mustang outweighs the annoyance of squeaks and rattles. I loved both of my Mustangs, but I hate when people make excuses for Ford in this regard. If Honda can make a squeak and rattle free Civic for 25 grand, Ford should be able to make a rattle free Mustang for 50K. You shouldn’t have to track down squeaks and rattles on a new car.

Interesting. When I press on the window, it stops. So you put some foam in between what, the panels?
