WOO HOOO - finally a VIN and a delivery date (albeit estimated) 23rd November.

There are quite a few cars 'in stock' on the ford.co.uk website and they seem to come in two batches, one lot available in 7-8 weeks, and the other in 18 weeks, which tallies closely with your estimate.

What's curious however is that, s far as I could tell, every car in that 18 week batch has the Night Pony Package, where those in the earlier batch do not. In wonder if that has been the deciding variable between the two build runs?

I suspect so, especially if it's just been vin'd as that is when they're currently scheduling although they have a lack of v8's that could just be 'murican spec 8's

If scheduled they will have an engine for it

Yes anybody wanting a Mustang this year would do well to check out that list and get in touch with their dealer ASAP. There will not be any more until next year.

The good news is there is another car in 7 weeks with identical spec to mine, so if mine falls in the sea on the way over I have a spare! I can also see my original order on there too!

Anybody who is still waiting for a VIN should check out the list and swap to an earlier build if they can.

So I presume the cars on this list are those scheduled to be built but NOT already ordered by a customer? As for the NPP - I am in the 18 weeks camp and didnt order NPP.

The ones that are 7/8 weeks away will have been built in May and are already on a ship / just about to board a ship today.
As mine is due at dealer in 7 weeks, Greg's is 8 weeks. The rest will be the final 24.5 production in late August early Sept.

I hope for Ford's sake that nobodies configuration that is still awaiting a vin is on that list of 43 cars.

From my initial discussion with the dealer npp was always a batch 2 thing. They originally called them my24 and my24.5 but it all got bumped back only Europe got the my24

I bet there are some people still awaiting a VIN, but could swap to an identical already built car if they knew. Also, some of those cars may be dealer demonstrators?

I had previously found that list but unsurprisingly no DH's on it.
I will contact my Dealer early next month and ask when the first car is due with him.
I accept that I'm not getting one this year !

Only two choices on a DH. Vospers have a couple unsold in batch 2 as dealer orders. and a scalper has 3x for 10k over list.
First ship of cars arrive in the UK next week however there is ~300 on the first ship to be processed for UK import.
It's unknown if they are going to do all of them in turn before releasing the first car to dealers or if they'll release them in batches as they're complete. The aim is to have them all done by mid september.

Whilst I still want one I don’t need one and certainly won’t be paying over list nor compromising on what spec I want.
At the rate this year is going March will be here soon enough anyway !

@keithwalton if your car was on the Atlantic Sun it should have arrived yesterday in Liverpool and should be showing 'compound in' on Vista? If not then it is probably on the same boat as mine, Atlantic Sail arriving on 8th August?

My dealer by coincidence checked an hour after the ship arrived and surprisingly there was no update yet. I've asked him to look again at the weekend as vista typically takes a couple of days to update.

Did the ford chat thingy confirm that your vehicle was on the sail ? Is yours now compound out ?
They only have the same compound out for me and no vehicle listed.

The last time I asked Live Chat they didn't have the info, but they also seemed to know a lot less than the first person I spoke too.

Going from the Ford website it looks like there are only 5 GT coupe's and 5 GT convertibles not sold from the first batch of cars due in September.

Finally got some information from Vista on my DH. Now compound in at Newark as of 7th August with an ETA to dealer of 12th October. I suppose that could be sooner depending when it gets onto a ship.

For reference, my DH order date on Vista shows as 7/12/23 and it was gate released 25/6/24.

Here's my Vista. I've just noticed that the Gate Release Date is two days after I ordered it. Does that mean it was sitting around waiting for a buyer, instead of just being shipped for stock?
