Hi

Can anybody suggest any safety pins for S650? The flatter, the better.
When I bought s197 10 years ago that was the first thing I did, as the hood was making me anxious on highways.
With S650 is the same story 😁

TIA

I have such pins in my S197. The problem with these pins is that here in Poland every car must be technically inspected by an authorised officer if it is safe, etc. Whenever I go every year with my S197 I always hear how strange these are. The only reason my car passes the technical inspection is that it is considered a vintage car.

I wouldn't want the lanyards rubbing on the paint. Some cars have a chrome trim where they would rub. The MY2024-25 doesn't. The pins really do not need to be captive. Also be thoughtful of the hood being aluminum and hardware used so galvanic corrosion doesn't occur.
