Is anybody else experiencing the dash screens getting overheated? Almost too hot to the touch (on the top and back). Can't tell if it's from the graphics processing or the sun coming through the windshield.

I haven’t noticed it on mine and we’re having 95 degree daytime temps here. However, I do have ceramic tint on all windows including the windshield, which does a great job of heat rejection.

We put a windshield visor up if we park it outside, otherwise they will be almost too hot to touch just from the sun.

I think if you keep them from getting cooked , and then turn the air conditioning on when you get in to drive , they will be fine. I was concerned about overheating , so this is what we have done since day one. Never had ours overheat.

Always using a windshield sun screen as well!

Hi there! Would you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership name and location? I’d like to look into this concern on my end.

Have plans for tint. Sounds like I need to get on it. Long term heat and touchscreens don't mix well.

This was something that I had posted back on March 8th Heat Buildup in 2024 Mustang GT Premium Infotainment System. A couple of people did reply that they noticed the same thing.

In my post I indicated that I took my vehicle to the Ford Dealership met with a technician who works on electrical issues, and he informed me that the heat buildup is normal because there are no vents in the back or on the top for the heat to escape.

We now have nearly 7,000 miles on the Mustang, and the heat buildup has been consistent throughout this period of time.

I would be interested in learning if any of you had an opportunity to bring this to the attention of a Ford technician and learn what you were told.

We do have tinted windows.
