I agree. I have the Ford short shift. Make a big diff. If you get a 4.10 axle ratio the short shift is a must. If I didn't have the Whipple I'd go 4.10. Would take lightning fast shifts. Have 18" stock, and want stock 20" wheels. But since my car is for Defensive Driving in the city I'm going to need some better 18"tires. Don't think I could put wider on the rear since they're base 18" black stock wheels.i have a base gt first thing i did was to throw some wider tires on it. Those base tires are touring style and not anywhere near wide enough for the power the 4th gen coyote and the mt82 can throw down. Once i did that and realized this isn't grampas 6 speed. I got way better also the gears are long use the lift less shifting and don't be afraid to rev the engine. The factory shifter and clutch are ok but i would recommend a short throw and better clutch.
