Just got installed, it makes a huge difference! When I would get on it from a stop or even in second gear, I could feel the rear end moving around, making me nervous it was going to break loose. Now, it just feels like it's squatting down and taking off in a straight line. Took about 2 hours to install, hardest part were the support braces, but even that wasn't that big of a deal. If you're a big sissy like me and don't like that feeling of not knowing where your rear end is going, I highly suggest it :like:

I’ve been eyeballing this as well. But I need to find a shop nearby that can do the install for me. I live in a condo without a garage and have no place to work on cars…
I'd suggest a Ford dealership, but if you don't know anyone, a small speed shop is probably going to be way cheeper than paying their hourly rates.

I hope you find someone, you'll love the kit!

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking. Just gotta look around the area for one. There’s a number of things I want to add to the car between now and the fall.

100% agreed! Just when I think I'm done, something new pops up and it's like a kid in a candy store, hahahaha.

I installed everything but the Steeda IRS Subframe Support Braces.
The Steeda IRS Subframe Bushing Support System was a pain cause of 2 parts that need to be greased and squeezed into place.
But even without the Support Braces it is a noticeable difference in how much better connected everything is.

I'll get the Support Braces soon.

I also highly suggest the kit.

If you are in southeastern MI, use Livernoise Motorsports and Engineering. Just got Kelltrac Posi-loc system with studs, BMR vertical link with Delrin and bearing, and the ford performance knuckle to toe link bearing. That totally locked in the rear end. Much more stable.

Nice!

How much did that set up cost installed?

I havent added the entire kit yet but I did do the subframe alignment kit when I lowered the car. Back since the IRS came on the Mustangs in 2015, there have been posts (including my previous Mustang, 2019 GT) of the subframe being off 1/4-1/2". That alone improves the feel of the car if it was off some from factory.

I would be interested if and when you start adding the other pieces to see what you think improves each time if you go piece by piece.

Adding it all at once, really helped me with being sure it's pointed in the right direction as I'm shifting through the gears.

One thing it does NOT help on, is dirty roads from construction trucks leaving job sites. Found that out yesterday as I hammered up a hill right outside a construction site šŸ˜‚. I don't know why the keep renewing my drivers license sometimes

On my 2019 GT, I had the entire Stop the Hop Starter Kit and lowering springs. No hop whatsoever and it was a basic bolt-on E85 car. I could floor it and not a bit of hop. Barely could tell it was spinning. However; it was spinning as that car quickly destroyed the rear tire set without me realizing it, lol. For the 24 GT, I'm more focused on non-race mountain driving and of course dallying. I'm blessed to have some of the best roads in the country starting 30-40 miles from me. Not sure if I will add the rest of the STHK. We will see.....

So you're saying I need to start looking for new rear tires in the near future, hahaha
