I will also ask a related question:

It’s easy to “want” this kit. But I’m not sure I really “need” it. I don’t do much launching, so I’m not sure my car would benefit, really. And unlike, say, a strut tower brace, which looks awesome in the engine bay, nobody ever gets to see these.

Wouldn’t I benefit more from just this item? Along with my wallet benefiting, too! 😁

I would think that even normal daily driving would benefit from squaring up the cradle. And it’s on sale for a good price!

(I still WANT to install the entire stop the hop kit, though!)

Don’t mean to hijack the thread, but what are these? (It’s from the video posted on this thread) I’m assuming something from Steeda, but couldn’t find them on their site.

It's just a normal Dark Horse front end.

The IRS braces do more than just stop wheel hop in my experience. I have installed them on my Bullitt, Mach 1 and now the 650 GT. It helps keep the rear in place during hard cornering, especially when accelerating out of the corners/turns. Cheap and easy to install. I did also install the bushing supports, which are a bit of a PIA, but I don’t really launch so I can’t attest to their effectiveness. I just figured I’d install the whole starter kit.

Just did both the Ford Performance Street Suspension Pack which lowered it 1” on my 24 GT Premium. No issues with my 25mm wheel spacers either. Had the guys at Ford in Sweetwater do the install on BOTH the suspension kit and the Steeda Stop the Hop. I’m more of a road course guy though. Driving home from the install was AMAZING. I believe my GT handles better than my 04 Porsche Boxster S. My GT feels like it’s on rails in the twisties. Best mod combo you can get for a driveable street car and occasional track day. I know my 6 speed rear end and engine oil are gonna need cooling if I do any serious tracking.
