Sto N Sho front license plate holder

Is your car 401A? Looks like the radar is being blocked?

Base 301A with PP. I have tried to find out definitively if there are any sensors down there... visually I cannot see anything that indicates there are any electronics in that area. I have had the brake alert come on a number of times since I installed it, so some sensor somewhere is working while this is covered. Having said that, on two different occasions I have had warnings that the sensor is blocked (weeks after installing), but it also said in the same warning that the camera in the windshield was also blocked - which it was not - so I am thinking that was some sort of error. Daily driver for 5 months, and only two (possibly erroneous?) sensor blocked warnings.

Could be blocking a sensor. On the 401A the plate cannot cover the very center. After rereading the installation instructions for the Sto N Sho, I'll have to mount it to the side.

So, my asshat of a dealer drilled holes in the bumper... but I have some bumper plugs coming soon. Will the Sto-N-Sho work with the RTR Chin Splitter? Mine is 401A but not PP. Wondering if anyone has that combo and if the two are compatible. Thanks!

No idea. 401A will require the plate be mounted on the side, and not on the center. It uses factory screws to mount.

The RTR splitter sits lower than the stock one, and uses those screws, so it may not work...

Just use the factory location... you already have the holes...

Yea I think @Sofa King is right on the splitter being lower than the factory bolts. Sucks but oh well. Thanks guys.

I have "Sto-N-Sho and looking at the pics to me, it looks like no bueno.
FWIW I told my salesman if you drill holes or put stickers on the car I'm walking. So when I first walked up to the car bumper was fine but a small dealer sticker was on the trunk. Not a big deal but the salesman evidently noticed it and all of a sudden claimed the car needed to be washed so he took it, got it washed and no sticker when he came back! LOL!!! I didn't say anything!!

My car was a dealer trade from Louisiana and they don't require front license plate. The sales guy missed it so I didn't bother telling them not to put it on, and I definitely told them not to put any emblems on it..... but this dealer says they don't put emblems on Mustangs anyway.

Don't understand why you all just don't specify "No dealer prep" when ordering your car. If you do that then you don't have to worry about the dealership touching a thing.

Thankfully, New Mexico is one of the states not requiring a front plate.

Funny thing about the need for a front license in 29 states that require them; The all have extra-restrictive traffic laws. Hum? I wonder how they enforce them? Duh!

They are enforced only when it’s convenient. I have my front plate mounted in my trunk
