  • Reverse lines not always displaying requiring a system reboot
  • More options for the favorite button, drive mode favorite would be nice
  • Fully customizable drive mode, normal magneride, sport exhaust, sport steering normal transmission shift, sport throttle response combo and so on
  • I know this is unlikely but remembering the drive mode you last used for next startup would be fantastic
I didn't know the lack of drive mode customization was a feature not a bug lol. Ever s650 ive tested blocked steering and i thought it was a skill issue on my side.

I wish they could give us the option to change the color of the Mustang in your center screen.
Now the car is grey while my car is blue. Would love to see my own car color on the screen.
100% Bothers the hell out of me that I can't make that car black.

I want it to remember the drive mode that was last active.

I also want it to lower and angle inward the side-view mirrors when I set it in to R.

@Ford Motor Company, listen up, stuff your customers want in the next update:

1. An option to fully turn off that stupid ass heart beat on start up. Just annoyingly gimmicky and unnecessary.

Anyone else?
WARNING: Boomer Rant. Add climate control voice commands to adjust fan speed, turn on/off heated steering wheel. and seats. Also make the icons to adjust these settings larger so I can change them while driving. I can get a ticket for distracted driving while on my phone, but not the iPads on my dash. I also like to swerve lanes trying to find the buttons/icons. Or I could pull over and look the settings on my phone. What sounds more fun than this?

I want the heartbeat to work again! It's been silent ever since I got the car, haha. 🤭

Things I want fixed:

  • Cooled/heated seats randomly starting when I start the car (even though I didn't have them on when I turned the car off).
  • Apple CarPlay randomly going silent (not losing connection - just going silent).
  • Ability to start the car in a selected drive mode, including custom, rather than selecting it every single time.
  • Enable navigation to be visible in the instrument cluster.

Technology is great, but just give me a car without a bunch of "cutesy" features. I really don't need to see a Mustang that I can rotate 360 degrees on my display screen.
Yeah, how about a Farah or Cheryl poster pop up instead. Then you can keep the heartbeat!

Things I want:

Install an "anti-whine" feature in the driver's seat. While mine doesn't need this, there are far too many Mustangs being sold that clearly need such a feature.

Neither do I need it but I get where you’re coming from and where you’re going with this!! šŸ˜†šŸ˜†šŸ˜†

I did a test this morning on the way to/from the gym. The climate control was a little on the chilly side, but I left it alone and it was fine after a couple minutes. Even so, in the 15 minutes each way, I didn’t look at the center screen once.

I did listen to the stereo, but have to admit I turned the volume down to listen to the engine.

Poor analogy. Adjusting my climate settings or turning on/off most any feature using the screen is nothing like using your cell phone to post a message on Facebook, read/reply to a text message, watch a TikTok video or post a selfie. It takes me no more time to change a setting on the screen than to find and press a hard button on the dash. Maybe that's just me, a Gen Xer.

The "hard buttons" on my wife's Lincoln don't require me to take my eyes off the road. If I want to turn the heated sets off or on, or the heated steering wheel off or on, I just need to reach over and I can feel the button and push it. If I want to hang the phone up, I just have to move my finger on the steering wheel to the proper location and push.
On my Mustang -- I have to look over at the screen, find the location on the touch screen and then after touching wait for the confirmation that it reacted to my touch. No tactile response confirmation from the "hard button" push.

If I want to adjust the heated seat from 3 to 1 I have to look at it to get the confirmation on the Mustang - but on the Lincoln I know from feel that I hit it the first time it was on 3, hit it again it is on 2, and hit it again it is now on 1 all without taking my eyes off the road.

No, it’s not.

Exactly. This is almost perfectly analogous to drawing a handgun from a holster unconcealed, vs concealed which adds ~ .25-.5 ish seconds to the draw/present time.

Instead of reaching for dash button where you have direct input and immediate response, on the Mustang’s fancy interface you have to summon the control, and change it by touch. While it’s a good touch interface, it is just plainly slower than a ā€˜hard’ button or dial.

Maybe we should do some time trials. Of course, we need standard vehicle with hard controls to compare to.

simple stuff like, higher/lower fan speed, defrost on, etc.

Or, we can all stop pretending that there’s even a serious discussion to be had about it.

Anyone else having trouble with the car remembering the custom UI colors theme? I even setup my profile and the car keeps randomly reseting my indoor lighting and UI colors.
