I bought my gt 8mo ago and I didn't notice until a few days ago when I was putting on my steeda hpipe the dealer didn't put my aero strakes on.

Didn't think it would be an issue because the dealership was amazing - but I guess I was wrong. Turns out they're only friendly when you're giving them money

The quicklane service department is amazing though. Definitely will continue to go there, but when it's time to upgrade my fiances civic to her bronco.

Little rant over, I'm on the fence with if this is worth my time. I usually only get 1 day a week off

They're telling me it's not included with the performance pack and only on the darkhorse so if I want them I have to purchase.

GT with Performance Pack is supposed to get the underbody strakes. Got em with mine upon delivery and they are a dealer install item. I did not have mine installed initially and put them on later. Very easy.

Yeah, I'm telling them I'm willing to put them on myself but they're adamant that the part named "dark horse/ gt performance pack air strakes" is not included in my package called "gt performance pack" and if I want them I have to pay extra for the parts & installation

They are lying. The strakes are part of the performance package. If they aren't in your trunk in a bag because they forgot to install them, then someone saw an opportunity to sell them and took them.

Call the Ford helpline and ask them for assistance.

This. If they aren’t hidden in you trunk (like mine were) then the dealership is being dishonest. That’s unacceptable

Yeah, I just realized they didn't install mine. They were in the car when I picked her up. And I dumped that bag in the sunroom and haven't thought about it for 6 months. I have the recall service scheduled. I'm going to see if they'll put them on then

Sad to see elder ford doing this I bought my 19 gt there and my brother his 19 f150 and in May I got my 24 gt there they were always helpful even after the fact. If you still have your window sticker it may have them listed. The link goes to levitown ford and the listing clearly states dh,and pp gt

So they texted me back and asked me to come in. Without saying I was right, they said I was. Parts are ordered and install is set for next Monday

Yeah I had sent them that link several times and I was told it wasn't optioned on my car but it's been taken care of now. Just took me leaving a negative review which sucks because my experience with them has been great up to this point.

Glad you got it worked out sorry it came to that. Guess I won't be recommending eldar Ford again.

My strakes were in the trunk as well. I didn't realize it at first and thought it was something else and almost threw them away. I ended up installing them myself a few months later. Easy install for the most part. Don't even need to jack the vehicle up.
