I have a performance pack and they were in a bag in where my spare would be in the trunk. I ended up putting them on myself kn 20 minutes.

I wanted to put them on myself but they're insisting on doing it. Thought it would be a fun little weekend projectMy strakes were in the trunk as well. I didn't realize it at first and thought it was something else and almost threw them away. I ended up installing them myself a few months later. Easy install for the most part. Don't even need to jack the vehicle up.
That's what everyone's saying but only thing in my trunk was the tire inflator and my tow hook was in my glove boxI have a performance pack and they were in a bag in where my spare would be in the trunk. I ended up putting them on myself kn 20 minutes.
I have the Premium GT with the 20" wheels, came with the tire inflator kit but no tow hook, are supposed to all get a tow hook?I wanted to put them on myself but they're insisting on doing it. Thought it would be a fun little weekend project

Performance pack models only.I have the Premium GT with the 20" wheels, came with the tire inflator kit but no tow hook, are supposed to all get a tow hook?
Thank you!Performance pack models only.
Since the tow hook and strakes were in the same packaging in my car (dealer forgot to install my strakes as well so it was all sitting in plastic bags in my trunk), that suggests that some tech spotted the strakes so pulled them out to sell or place on his own Mustang, and then put the tow hook in the glove box.I wanted to put them on myself but they're insisting on doing it. Totally agree, very suspicious for the tow hook to be in the glove compartment, where everyone else's is in the trunk. Dealer won't do anything, wonder if a message to Ford CS will? They can't fix or address issues they don't know about.Since the tow hook and strakes were in the same packaging in my car (dealer forgot to install my strakes as well so it was all sitting in plastic bags in my trunk), that suggests that some tech spotted the strakes so pulled them out to sell or place on his own Mustang, and then put the tow hook in the glove box.
I have a similar feeling of relief that the stealership I bought from didn’t put the strakes or fender flares, or license plate bracket on.. They didn’t even know what they were. Not sure I wanted to compel them to do it rather than pay the 7 bucks it cost me to get my plate bracket on. I’m sure there’s a helpful youtube video on the front fender flares.I'll be honest; I wasn't really thrilled with my dealership, but seeing as how many people didn't have the strakes installed, I feel better about their PDI and service department since mine were installed. I would have had no idea they were missing since it wasn't until several months later that I even knew there was such a thing on the PP Mustangs.
They're telling me it's not included with the performance pack and only on the darkhorse so if I want them I have to purchase.

Street / highway driving, probably not. On a road course, by themselves, maybe, at least according to Ford Engineers. Can anyone honestly say that they notice a difference before and after installing driving this car on the street?
