Thinking of trading in M1HP for DHHP

Someone's offering their DHHP 8K miles against my 2021 M1HP 15K miles + $2K trade. Both cars in good conditions but the DHHP has recaros that I am not the biggest fan of. Besides the seats, what do you guys think of the deal? I had another trade offer for GT Premium + 5K against M1 which was a simple no from me. Thoughts?

Do you want the DHHP? Do you like the technology? Not to mention the DHHP has the Recaros which you aren't the biggest fan. Sometimes its not about an analytical, logic based spread sheet on the pros or cons. Either you want it or you don't. If you want the DH go for it and don't look back.

My thoughts…You hate the Recaros in the Mustang…Me too because the only are good for small folks…I would never trade my car against a used car I dont know especially where you basically have the same if not better car that is 200 lbs lighter and has still real buttons & knobs and no touchscreen…I would pass on the “deal” and use the 2 grand for gas

i hate the recaro seats due to how bare of creature comforts they have. as someone who has owned both a M1HP and DHHP, i can say for certain that the Dark Horse is just better. handles better, newer tech, more power, and you still have access to a fair few of the mods the S550 has, especially exhausts. plus, if you want an FP supercharger with a warranty, you have access to a really nice Whipple compared to that horrible Roush on the 2015-2023

i hate the recaro seats due to how bare of creature comforts they have. as someone who has owned both a M1HP and DHHP, i can say for certain that the Dark Horse is just better. handles better, newer tech, more power, and you still have access to a fair few of the mods the S550 has, especially exhausts. plus, if you want an FP supercharger with a warranty, you have access to a really nice Whipple compared to that horrible Roush on the 2015-2023

And the 650 looks so much better (personal opinion, which means nothing )

If I’m reading this correctly… it seems too good to be true.

I’d think there would be closer to a 15K price difference favoring the DHHP…
It really doesn’t add up to me at all, unless it was in an accident or something.

Makes you wonder if the DH is really so much better than the M1 why the owner of the DH wants the 3 year older M1 with twice the mileage so bad ? As the faster lap times are solely due to the fact that street legal race tires are fitted that are great for a few fast laps on the track but not so good for daily use or even less so all year around use…The rest of the cars is basically the same and the touchscreen is definitely not better but a gimmick for kids who like video games at best and of course cheaper for Ford to manufacturer and sell to the customer as the latest technology…

Yeah I'd demand a hella more cash for that swap.

There are no less than 3 version of Ford recaro. The best is the bullit. 250+ lb me was actually comfy. All the others are not plus-size friendly.

The only reason why I entertained this is I do like the DHHP. I love my M1 but over the last few months, I have started to like the 7g look more and more (and previously hated it). I guess my eyes are getting to used it on the roads here in CA. The biggest question marks to me are those big ass screens and the recaros.

Well it depends, how much would you get by selling your used DHHP and get a M1HP locally. My M1 came with about 8-9K of PPF/Ceramic other stuff that the other cars don't have, which I probably at this point don't care about unless I keep the car for 10 years or so.

I think its just the people who really want. On paper, the equation is much stronger in favor of DH than M1s. I don't know if that would be possible.

I just sat in the DH recaros today. I definitely think those are not made for someone like me. I fit just fine but the comfort I get from my M1 leather seats is just incredible. I have had very long drives without being bothered. Recaros will kill me.

If honestly, these weren't recaro, I'd strongly consider. I do like the new Pony and I'm happy to go back to a manual.

I've owned both the s550 and s650, and the screens are absolutely awesome. It's a joy to drive. I also love the s650s aggressive look. Mach1 is also cool! But since you're asking, I like s650s look better.

Yeah I thought a LOT about this. Frankly the bay area traffic is deranged. I just didn't want to do that 24x7 cause that was my main car to drive. Now that I have another one, it's time I can chill.

That said, the A10 is really good. I really wish Ford got the DCT7 from GT500 in this but that's asking too much.
